Crack-Your-Own Geodes
Have some fun cracking your own geodes with these wonderful quartz filled little sugar bombs! Great activity to do with kids or friends! These little geodes contain Sugar Quartz and are full of sparkly energy! Each geodes is sold separately, and the price listed is for one individual geode. Each sugar bomb is approximately 1-3" in diameter and varies in shape,size, and weight. We haven't cracked one that wasn't filled with crystals yet, but we cannot guarantee what will be inside each geode. You will receive one intuitively selected geode. If you wish to purchase these in bulk, we do have the option to buy packs of 6 geodes for $25 or packs of 10 geodes for $40. If you would like to order a larger quantity of sugar bombs, please contact us, and we can fulfill larger orders per request.
Care Instructions
Use pressurized air to blow off dust when cleaning your geode or gently wash with mild soapy water. Avoid exposure to harsh chemicals or abrasives.
How to Crack Your Geodes
First make sure you protect your eyes and hands from flying debris by wearing gloves and safety glasses. Olace your geode inside a sock or fabric bag and place the sock on a hard surface. Hit the geodes with a hammer and crack open. For more prescise geode cracking you can place your geode on a hard surface and use a chisel and hammer to gently tap around the circumference of the geode to score the surface and then use more force to chisel the geode in half. Always protect your eyes.
